The staff at Pentucket Medical had been told that a cafe was coming and IT IS COMING REAL SOON. On September 1, 2009 I took an opportunity to introduce the Daily Dose Café and myself, Keith Wlodyka, to them and now to YOU.
After many months of planning the Café will be opening on Wednesday October 14th. I have been given the chance to provide you with quality food choices and superior customer service and hope to meet and exceed your expectations.
The Daily Dose Café will be open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 3:00pm. Throughout the day, we will be offering high quality coffee and beverages. The breakfast menu will include (but not limited to) bagels, muffins, egg sandwiches and breakfast panini’s. The lunch menu will offer sandwiches; panini’s, wraps, soups and fresh made to order salads. We will have a full line of bottled beverages, snack items and much more.
I stated that the Café will offer superior customer service and I know you’ve all heard it before but I will be personally operating this Café and place my reputation on my new business. “What reputation?” you may ask. Well, I’m glad you did… I grew up in a self-employed family who owned several food service businesses in the City of Lawrence. In 2006, we sold our last business called Tower Hill Variety & Subs after 28 years. During those years, I became intimately involved in the Tower Hill community and the City of Lawrence and have since realized that I not only built great customer relationships but also strong friendships and ties to the City.
On our 21st year of business at Tower Hill Variety, the Store held a sidewalk party for our customers and the City Council presented me with my third proclamation for community service which started the nickname of the Store being called “the Cheers of Lawrence”. The Store became the unofficial headquarters for many people and companies looking for quality food choices and a positive atmosphere. Since the closing of the Store, I have continued my local commitment and currently, I am serving as the President of the Tower Hill Neighborhood Association, former Treasurer for the Tower Hill Little League and a former School Advisory Board Member for the former Our Lady of Good Counsel School, all on Tower Hill. To sum it up, my reputation means a lot to me but I am confident in my experience and abilities to serve you.
So now that you are sorry for asking about my reputation (third paragraph, haha), I would like to end by thanking you for giving me this opportunity to make my introduction. I am EXTREMELY EXCITED to open the Daily Dose Café. I will ask that you give me your honest feedback once we open. I believe your feedback (likes, dislikes, suggestions, etc.) will help me better serve you. In conclusion, I am 100% dedicated to the Café and look forward to building many new relationships with my new friends at Pentucket Medical and the RiverWalk.
Warmest Regards,
Keith Wlodyka, Owner / Operator
